Dr. Jeffrey Glover
I was born in Athens, Ohio and lived there until I was 13 years old. I moved to Stockdale, Texas where I graduated from high school. I enjoyed anything outdoors, especially, fishing, camping, and baseball. I started college at Texas Lutheran University, in Seguin, TX and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. I married my wife Donna and had our first son, Weston, before leaving for veterinary school. After receiving my D.V.M. from Texas A&M we moved to the Rio Grande Valley where I started my career as a mixed animal veterinarian. After a few years we had our second and third sons, Clayton and Travis. We then moved to Floresville, TX. I worked as an Associate Mixed Animal practitioner and had our fourth son Carson and our only girl Laramie. I left that practice and started Glover Veterinary Services, a house-call practice while at the same time working at a small animal emergency hospital in San Antonio. After a few years we then renovated a farm house into a veterinary hospital and opened full time which is now known as Animal Crossing Veterinary Hospital. In 2013 we began planning for our current hospital and moved into our new hospital in December 2015.
Dr. Aaron Rode
I was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country. While growing up on my family’s ranch in Llano County, I was active in sports, 4-H, and student government. After graduating from Llano High School, I received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M. I then started working as a residential construction manager in San Antonio. Shortly thereafter, I married my beautiful wife Agatha aka Aggie. After working in the construction industry for six years and Aggie graduating from St. Mary’s Law School, we wanted a change. I had always wanted to work in agriculture, so I decided to go back to school to be a veterinarian. While in vet school, we welcomed our son, Wyatt, and a short 11 months later our daughter, Charlotte, into the world. After graduating from Texas A&M Veterinary School, I began working at Animal Crossing Veterinary Hospital as a mixed animal practitioner. I enjoy all parts of mixed animal practice but particularly likes large animal practice and surgery. Outside of practice, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping with my family.

I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and went to Gaither High School. I enjoyed playing softball and the violin and participated in Girl Scouts for 12 years. I received my bachelor’s in biology, Integrative Animal Science at the University of South Florida. While in undergrad I volunteered for a spay and neuter clinic. I also volunteered at Big Cat Rescue in Tampa which is a rescue place for tigers and other large cats. I worked as a technician while going to school full time for 4 years before going to veterinary school. In March of 2015, I was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and I spent 2 ½ years there before attending Texas A&M for my clinical year. I enjoy hiking, fishing, reading, and spending time with my fur babies, Ziggy and Merida.

I was born in Memphis, Tennessee but was raised in Gilbert, Arizona. In high school, I ran track and cross country. While in my senior year of high school I enrolled in the one-year veterinary assisting program at East Mesa Institute of Technology and got my first job as a kennel technician. After graduating high school, I started college at Mesa Community College for 2 years then transferred to Arizona State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. While studying at Arizona state I left my kennel job and began working as a part-time veterinary technician at a small animal practice in Mesa, Arizona as well as started a personal pet sitting business. I was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and began perusing my D.V.M in September 2016. I spent 2 ½ years there and attended Texas A&M for my clinical year. I will be finishing my clinical rotations this coming December. Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy reading, hiking, going to the gym and spending time with my island kitty Clover
